Course Components:
• Identify the different forms of Asbestos used in building material.s
• Identify what materials may be Asbestos containing material; building materials prior to 1990
• Review Legislative Requirements for Type 1 and Type 2 Asbestos Work
• Review the Requirements for Type 3 Work—Demolition Work; Training Requirements
• How to recognize assess and control hazards relating to Type 1 and Type 2 Work
• Discuss Other relevant legislation such as the Ministry of Environment, Transportation of Dangerous Goods, WHMIS, etc.
• Review Requirements for PPE such as respirators etc.
• Quiz/Test including case studies to correctly fill out permit system
