GUIDELINES FOR TRAINING
Safety training describes the set of activities aimed at providing workers with the knowledge and skills to perform their duties safely and effectively. This type of training seeks to inform persons of the hazards and risks associated with various work activities and instructs them on how to identify, report, and address workplace incidents.
Workplace safety training is usually mandated by government regulating bodies, such as the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) in the United States and Canada.
Contents for In Class and Online Training:
What is the meaning of Training Materials?
Training materials are digital or printed content required for student or employee training purposes in the form of workbooks, exercises, courses, programs, videos, assessments, or exams
- MS PowerPoint Files
- Videos
- Workbooks
- Online Tests
- Written Tests
- Practical Tests
DEFINITIONS:
MS PowerPoint Files
A software package designed to create electronic presentations consisting of a series of separate pages or slides narrations.
Videos
Training videos are also a valuable resource for reviewing previously taught topics. With training videos, employees have the ability to refer to the video as often as needed. This encourages employees to replay a course before engaging in a procedure they may have not done for some time.
Employee Training Manuals (Workbooks)
Employee training manuals are small handbooks which are given to employees by training managers for their future reference. Employee training manual should include relevant information which would help employees enhance their capabilities and knowledge skills, eventually increasing their productivity and safety in the workplace for the benefit of the organization.
Online Tests
Something (such as a series of questions or exercises) for measuring the skill, knowledge, intelligence, capacities, or aptitudes of an individual or group. A procedure, reaction, or reagent used to identify or characterize a substance or constituent.
(A) A positive result in such a test.
(B) A critical examination, observation, or evaluation: TRIAL specifically: the procedure of submitting a statement to such conditions or operations as will lead to its proof or disproof or to its acceptance or rejection.
Written Tests
It is an uncharted area of what proof holds up in the court of law, normally if it’s not written it doesn’t exist. EF/RG defines:
- Applicants may take a written exam, undergo a preliminary interview, or submit records of their education and experience for evaluation.
- The results are from written tests unless otherwise stated.
- EF/RG believes in the importance of a handwritten test is to allow the instructor or the assigner of the course an opportunity to show and relate to the participant, when an answer is wrong what the right answer is and explain why.
Practical Tests
In a practical exam (also known as a performance exam), a work situation is replicated to test a candidate’s ability and skill in performing critical and frequently performed job/equipment duties. A candidate can expect to be evaluated by a competent person who already has experience and has been trained themselves and, in some cases, the proper qualifications and credentials, who are
experts in the field.
EMPLOYERS FIRST/REASSURANCE GROUP HAS THE RIGHT TO:
- Terminate this agreement if training from this day-on is NOT preformed or taught with these blended procedures. It is very important to understand that the participant MUST view the power point and sign the front of the workbook with initials on each page that they have read and go over the exercises and discussion points in each course workbook. Where a practical evaluation is required, must fill out the evaluation form and is to be signed, dated by a witness/competent/ experienced person.
It is important to understand that EF/RG does NOT approve of any training that has or is being delivered, unless every one of the above components are blended together without 1 being left out so that the participant employee has the opportunity to retain the information and the skills to work safe in the work areas and the job descriptions he has been required to task at.
EMPLOYERS FIRST/REASSURANCE GROUP:
HAS THE RIGHT at any time with a 14-day notice to by Zoom Meeting or Site Visit. To request proof of training, only from the resources provided by EF/RG, and that each course falls in place with our protocols.
