A112(1)-AODA Customer Service Training For Workplaces with 20 or more employees. Under 20 no reporting required.

Who is considered to be an employee?

An employee is someone who is provided with monetary compensation for providing a good or service. Seasonal Workers if the are regularly employed (let’s say for the summer or the winter) or year after year, they are considered as part of your employee compliment and will be counted.

Sub-trades or persons who invoice you for their goods or services are not considered employees per say (if they are included in let’s say a tender and you all have to work together then it could be deemed to be counted all together). Not in all cases and is a grey area and could be interpreted in a variety of ways. If unsure always check with legal authorities to be sure.
